Destination Media publishes guidebooks, magazines and award winning commemorative coffee table books. Founded in 1984 to promote duty free brands in the Caribbean leisure travel market, Destination Media created a unique distribution network and introduced it to the Alaska cruise ship market in 1995 with tremendous success. This expansion revolutionized passenger shopping trends that have generated over $2 billion in revenue for Alaska clients to date. 

Ports of Call — Alaska

In 2005 the Vancouver Port Authority invited Destination Media to bid on the license agreement for distribution of a new guidebook designed for Alaska bound cruise ship passenger. As the successful bidder, Destination Media launched Ports of Call—Alaska in 2006. With 25 years in Alaska (Destination Alaska 1995 – 2005, Ports of Call—Alaska 2006 – current), Ports of Call—Alaska guidebook is now greeting over 1.3 million passengers each season.
